Bees wax wraps are an awesome, sustainable alternative to plastic wrap. They are simply pieces of fabric infused with bees wax. They can be used to wrap up that half piece of fruit or vegetable, cheese or leftover bread, or cover that bowl or jar. Simply choose the right size piece and mold the wrap around whatever you want. The warmth of your hands help mold the wrap around your item and it stays put! When you're done with it, wash with cool water and soap, and let it dry before you fold it up and put it away. Bees wax wraps can be used over and over again, and when they loose their moldability, they can be reinfused with bees wax in your own oven, or composted.
NOTE: Bees wax wraps cannot be used in a microwave or conventional oven for reheating food, and cannot be washed with hot water because the wax will melt and you'll have a mess!
