The Tulsi plant is also called Holy Basil in India, and she is revered and treated as a form of divinity. The Tulsi beads are carved from the stems of the plant, and each bead is capped on either side by sterling silver decorative caps. The Tulsi wood mala is said to promote devotion, and the best for honoring Lord Vishnu, Ram and Krishna.
The large mala is 17", handmade in Vrindavan, India and delivered to Sonoma by our dear friend KD McComb.
